Can I pour the epoxy into a metal can while I’m using a small hand brush
No. You have to pour it out of the container onto the floor within minutes of mixing and start spreading. It will harden if you leave it in a container. Best to start where you are edging and have 2-3 people working quickly to edge with the brush as needed and another person spreading with the squeegee.

After going thru the process of applying the epoxy coating to garage and cured for the recommended time frame, can it be cleaned off with a pressure washer. I do a lot of woodworking in my garage including painting and staining, and would like to know how durable this product is before having to re-coat. thanks
Yes, you can pressure wash it.
Hi – it’s unclear what comes in a kit. Are the decorative flakes included? How about the aluminum oxide, and is that simply a grit, or does it prevent the epoxy from hardening smooth? What are the coverages of the chips and oxide?
They are separate. We offer the flecks here
https://www.restore-a-garage.com/restore-a-garage-epoxy/restore-a-garage-decorative-fleck/flypage.tpl.html
We do not offer the grit and most do not add it. You can use a product like Shark Grip if you like.
what is the delivery time period to Connecticut?
3-4 business days on average.
Do you have any polyaspartic coatings?
We have a poly aliphatic coating.

Do you provide primers to use under the epoxy?
No, we do not and you cannot apply a primer before using an epoxy like ours.
Can you add slip resistant texture? If so, what do you recommend? Does your product come with or need a clear coat or seal coat? Thank you
Yes, you can broadcast on top of the epoxy right after applying (similar to applying the fleck) an anti-slip if desired. You can top coat with a clear coat for added protection and shine as well: https://www.restore-a-garage.com/restore-a-garage-epoxy/restore-a-garage-clear-top-coat/flypage.tpl.html
Thanks for all your help!
What would you recommend as the grit number to “scuff” when using the pole sander?
80 grit.
Thank you! How much would you recommend to use for a 2nd coat?
Same amount as first coat.
After painting our new floor we have some “thinly” covered areas. Can we apply a second coat to cover these areas without grinding off the 1st coat? Thank you!
You can coat again but you have to “scuff” the current coating. Use a pole sander and go over the entire floor, giving it a good sanding to the top. This way your new coating will adhere.
Thank you for the response! What prep work is required for this new floor? Can you share a purchase list for our floor using Canadian Gray?

Looking to cover a brand new concrete garage/wood shop that is 24 ft x 24 ft. Since it is brand new (cured for 3 months with no traffic on it) what do you suggest? Looking for a light color, no flakes, that will last a long time (20yr+).
Any color that you like in the RAG Epoxy will work. One Coat except 2 coats recommended for Beige, White & Yellow colors.
Hello, my garage is 465 sq ft. Am I safe with the 3 gal + 1.5 gal kit? I am concerned with the low end of the 400-550 coverage but I do not want to spend $100 more for the 3 gal + 3 gal kit if it’s not needed.
You should be okay with this kit.
How’d it turn out, had enough product?
Can I use this in Florida, if so what are the cure times, the temps vary daily in the mid to upper 80’s, Inside garage floor? I have an AC in the garage if necessary to help remove humidity.
About 24 hours for cure time.
Best priced and Longevity for a 100% Solid 2-Car Epoxy Kit! Easy to apply!
