Heavy Broadcast = 6-8 lbs per 1000 Sq. Feet
Full Broadcast = 200 lbs per 1000 Sq. Feet
Why does your website say it is self-leveling?? Can it be troweled over an area 4 feet by 6 feet?
As we mentioned, you cannot just lump it on and expect it to self-level. You need to trowel it on fairly smoothly, and then it will self-level. It will work fine for your size area.
Your website describes Ranger RE-18 as a self-leveling product for concrete. Please reconfirm this product description for me. Thank you
It does not self-level like you are thinking. It is too thick for that. You still need to trowel pretty smooth.
Where can I look at and purchase Super Grip or Shark Grip?
https://www.opwdecks.com/supergrip.htm
Do you offer a self leveling epoxy product to use to cover imperfections in the concrete before applying the epoxy coating?
We do not. We do have this for filling: https://www.restore-a-garage.com/ranger-re-18-floor-patch
If the flecks are more for decorative purposes, what do you recommend using for traction purpose. I am considering using your epoxy coating for a front door concrete stoop and want to prevent any slipping. Thanks
You can broadcast on after applying a grip. Look at Super Grip or Shark Grip.
Can flecks be added during top coat application?
Only during the epoxy application, not the top coat.
Why a 1.5 gal and 3 gallon in the same kit
Covers most two car garages in that kit. See here for more details. https://www.restore-a-garage.com/restore-a-garage-epoxy/restore-a-garage-epoxy-combo-kits/restore-a-garage-2-car-epoxy-kit/flypage.tpl.html
I have 420 sq ft garage will 6 lbs of Fleck be enough for the Heavy Broadcast look?
Yes.
hi,
can 2 colors be combined to create a lighter color? such as light blue and white?
thank you
Sorry but no.
i have already bought muriatic acid ,,, can i still use it diluted?? then rinse well ,,,is there a primer for this epoxy base coat?? Should i use 2 coats of base coat for auto shop,, then apply chips , then hardener?
Muriatic is too aggressive and can have issues with an epoxy if not fully rinsed. You do not use a primer. Only one coat is needed unless using one of the two lighter colors. For more durability, use the top coat last.
do the flecks help with traction?
Maybe a little but that is not their purpose. More decorative.
The Blue, Black, and White are great for the gray colors! Looks awesome!
